Molecular weight 221.4; bp. 217oC. Clear, colorless liquid. Soluble in most organic solvents. Prone to hydrolysis and polymerization.
Use:
Organosilane coupling agent. Mainly used to improve adhesion between organic (eg. resin) and inorganic (e. metal) substrates. Best suitable for glass fibre reinforced phenolic, epoxy and melamine-formaldehyde; also effective for reinforcing polysulfone, nylon, polyfuran, polyimide.
Packaginging and Storing:
Plastic barrel, net weight 10Kg, 25Kg, 50Kg, 200Kg; or amber glass bottle, net weight 500g. Store in a cool, dry place and avoid light.
